GOOD FERMENTATION is a fermentary producing Kimchi & Kombucha in the heart of Surrey, UK.

Based in Woking, Surrey, we create multi award-winning, small-batch fermented foods that are alive with flavour, gut-health benefits, and purpose. Our ferments are made with real ingredients, in small batches.

Our mission is simple: to nourish bodies, educate minds, and build genuine connections.

Iñigo

A Basque native, chef-trained in Switzerland, Iñigo refined his craft across kitchens in Greece, Spain, and the UK. His speciality? Harmonising flavours through fermentation, balancing familiar and surprising British tastes to make real food irresistible and accessible.

Annika

With a professional background in corporate retail, Annika brings strategic structure and heartfelt intention. She prioritises building genuine connections, championing wellbeing, sharing knowledge, and nurturing a community of fermenters with positivity and purpose.

Together, they launched Good Fermentation in 2022, in their home garage, with no outside investment, just unwavering belief, patience, and a commitment to grow organically.

Iñigo – Good Fermentation represents my desire to explore, create, and share the wonders of fermentation with you. Every ferment I craft and every flavour affinity I create not only releases healthy, good bacteria to the universe but also encompasses my passion for creating harmony and balance for the body and mind.

Annika – Good Fermentation has been a dream brewing and bubbling for a while. Educating, connecting and giving back is at the heart of what we do. Our purpose is to create products that focus on how people feel about themselves and their body. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind.
