GOOD FERMENTATION named Finalist in British Food Awards 2025
Good Fermentation, an artisan food producer based in Surrey, has been named a British Food Awards 2025 finalist for our Watercress Kimchi and Seaweed Kimchi. Crafted in small batches, our award-nominated ferments use fresh Surrey Hills watercress and hand-harvested Cornish seaweed, delivering rich flavour and live cultures for gut health. This recognition celebrates our commitment to British-grown ingredients, sustainable production, and delicious, nourishing fermented foods enjoyed across the UK.
We are delighted to announce that Good Fermentation has been named a finalist in the British Food Awards 2025 – a celebration of the UK’s best artisan food producers.
Our Watercress Kimchi and Seaweed Kimchi have been recognised for their outstanding taste, quality, and sustainability. Both are small-batch, unpasteurised ferments, packed with live cultures to support gut health.
Watercress Kimchi: Made with fresh Surrey Hills watercress, bringing a peppery kick and rich nutrients.
Seaweed Kimchi: Crafted with organic Cornish seaweed, delivering a savoury umami depth, high in iodine and antioxidants.
At Good Fermentation, we pride ourselves on using British-grown, seasonal ingredients, supporting local farmers, and delivering all orders in our zero-emissions electric van.
You can find our kimchis in independent farm shops, delis, and cafes across the UK (stockists), or order directly from our online shop.
We’d like to thank our wonderful customers, stockists, and community for supporting small-batch fermented foods.
